Oarsome!

A sneak preview of one of the development models can be seen below, a hollow shaft with canted blade complete with vortex generators. Incredibly light and amazingly strong. They could be even better in Carbon Fibre but the rules say wood. We doubt the Skiffie Spiritualists will approve but these oars are within the letter of the rules! The only non wooden part is the pivot bolt which is merely there to allow for varying cant angle untill experimentation determines the most effective angle when a glued joint will replace it on the production run.
